Job summary

Labcorp in North Reading, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, specimen processing and data entry, and providing friendly patient service.

Shifts are Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm with every 3rd weekend; pay range $20.00–$27.00 per hour, with eligibility for incentive plans. A high school diploma and Phlebotomy certification or training are required, plus reliable transport.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
• Minimum 1 year experience as a phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to patients
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed
• Travel to additional sites when required
