Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Norton, VA. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, data entry, and providing exceptional patient service in a busy clinical environment.

We offer comprehensive benefits and a pay range of $17.75-$27.69 per hour, with opportunities for growth. Flexibility for overtime is required, and a customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months+ experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year+ phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
