Job summary

Labcorp in Philipsburg, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and specimen processing, with emphasis on accurate data entry and exceptional patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification, with 3+ months of experience preferred. You may travel to additional sites as needed; Monday–Friday, with rotating Saturdays, and eligibility for benefits and a bonus plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
