Job summary

Confident Search Consultants is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Cumming, GA. The position runs 7:15am–4:15pm, Monday–Friday, with a projected duration of 3 months and potential to go permanent.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling and handling, OSHA/DEP compliance, and data entry using MS Office. Valid phlebotomy certification and 6+ months of venipuncture exp. required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months’ work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED minimum 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes; label, centrifuge, and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage and labeling.
