Job summary

Acloché LLC in Cumming, GA is seeking a contract Phlebotomist to perform blood draws and specimen processing. Schedule is 7:15am – 4:15pm, Monday to Friday, with a projected duration of 3 months plus potential for permanent placement.

Requires at least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital, valid phlebotomy certification, and proficiency with the lab workflow. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Phlebotomy certification required where applicable.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge, and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection procedures clearly to patients.
• Match lab requisitions to specimens and properly label, centrifuge, and freeze as required.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity per protocol.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in annual trainings.
