Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist in Cumming, GA for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent hire. The role involves performing blood draws, labeling specimens, and maintaining accurate patient and test information.

Schedule is 7:15am–4:15pm, Monday to Friday, with benefits available upon engagement. Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab/hospital setting and hold a current phlebotomy certification as required by the state.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required by state of employment
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab/hospital setting
• High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously; demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles.
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimen tubes; label, centrifuge, split and freeze specimens as required by test order.
• Package specimens for transport; store samples per required temperature and label containers correctly.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual department trainings; handle inquiries via phone.
