Qualifikationen

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required.
• Minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.

Aufgaben

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge, and decontaminate as required.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients in a courteous manner.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes; label, centrifuge, split and freeze specimens as needed.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity during handling.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in required trainings.
