Schedule is Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:00pm with alternating Saturdays; location options include Castleton and Latham. Must have phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
