Job summary

Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking a phlebotomist for a contracted role in Castleton, NY with alternating Saturdays in Latham, NY. Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm, plus Saturday shifts as needed. The project lasts about 3 months with potential for permanent hire.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining compliance with OSHA/DEP regulations. Requires at least 6 months of venipuncture experience and valid state phlebotomy certification. Benefits available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens per procedures.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Label, package, and store specimens as required.
• Ensure specimens are transported per protocol.
