Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:30am-4:00pm with alternating Saturdays; duration is 3 months with potential for perm. Requires phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months venipuncture experience; benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 2 years of phlebotomy experience required
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws and labeling specimens
• Collects and stores specimens according to procedures
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients
• Label, centrifuge, and prepare specimens for testing
• Ensure accuracy of test requisitions and packaging for transport
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings
• Answer inquiries and review patient information
