Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required by state
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection.
• Label, centrifuge, and handle specimens per protocol.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update lab information.
• Ensure proper storage and transport of specimens according to protocol.
• Adhere to OSHA/DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Answer inquiries and communicate test results as needed.
