Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC seeks a Phlebotomist for a contract role in San Antonio, TX, with a 3-month duration and potential for permanent placement. The position covers multiple sites within a 10-15 mile radius, with a Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Experience in diagnostic phlebotomy and centrifugation is preferred, with training and workflow optimization responsibilities. Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, data recording, and adherence to OSHA/DEP regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per procedures.
• Record maintenance data and update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure specimen integrity.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations; attend trainings.
