Job summary

Management Performance Associates in San Antonio, TX seeks a phlebotomist for a contract role covering a 10-15 mile radius. The position requires 1 year of diagnostic phlebotomy experience and offers benefits. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 7:00 am–5:30 pm, with an 8-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and properly label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
