Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in Reston, VA. The role requires pediatric experience and involves blood draws, specimen labeling, and proper transport according to protocol.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, plus every other Saturday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM. Duration: 3 months with potential for permanent hire; benefits are available. You will troubleshoot workflow, maintain accurate patient data, and comply with safety guidelines.

Competenze

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Mansioni

• Perform blood draws and specimen labeling according to procedures.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Ensure proper specimen collection, labeling, and transport following protocols.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients and caregivers.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in annual trainings.
