Henderson Group in Reston, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role with potential to become permanent. The position requires experience with blood draws, specimen labeling, and proper handling of specimens in a fast-paced lab environment.

The role includes verifying physician orders, maintaining patient information, and adhering to OSHA and regulatory requirements. Benefits are available; pediatric experience is preferred, and the schedule runs 8am-4:30pm with every other Saturday shift.

Competenze

• Valid phlebotomy certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Mansioni

• Perform blood draws, labeling and specimen processing.
• Operate centrifuge and prepare specimens for testing.
• Maintain accurate patient information and documentation.
• Ensure proper transport and storage of specimens per protocol.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
