Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification required in the employed state.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and prepare specimens for testing.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per protocol.
• Record maintenance data and ensure accuracy of patient information.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations; partake in annual trainings.
• Attend department trainings and assist with workflow recommendations.
