True North Consultants, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential to become permanent. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30am–3pm.

The role involves performing blood draws, labeling specimens, and adhering to safety procedures. Responsibilities include collecting and processing specimens, documenting results, and communicating clearly with patients and staff. Minimum qualifications include state phlebotomy certification and 6 months of venipuncture

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws and manage specimen labeling and centrifugation.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients.
• Ensure proper storage and transport of specimens.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings.
