Ashton North LLC in Orlando, FL is seeking a Phlebotomist on a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. The role focuses on blood collection, specimen labeling, and adherence to lab protocols, with a Monday–Friday 6:30am–3pm schedule.

You will perform venipuncture, handle specimens, and maintain accurate records while following OSHA guidelines. Minimum qualifications include phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of experience in a fast-paced lab.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens per protocol.
• Centrifuge and store specimens, update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients.
• Match requisitions to specimens and ensure 100% accuracy.
• Package specimens for transport and monitor temperatures.
• Maintain OSHA and DEP regulatory compliance; attend trainings.
• Answer inquiries and document results as required.
