Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. seeks a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Newberg, OR, with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm with rotating Saturdays every 4–5 weeks. Requires state phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain data/records.
• Decontaminate and store specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure correct labeling.
