Top Echelon Software, LLC in Anchorage seeks a phlebotomist for a contract role (8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday). The assignment is projected for 3 months with potential for permanent hire.

You will perform blood draws, label specimens, and ensure proper handling and transport according to protocol. Candidates must have a valid phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months venipuncture experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsabilités

• Do blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and decontaminate.
• Match lab requisition forms to tubes and label/pack specimens.
• Explain venipuncture process to patients.
• Maintain patient information and transport specimens.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings.
• Answer telephone inquiries about results.
