Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a Phlebotomist in Anchorage for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifugation, data maintenance, and proper specimen handling to ensure integrity and patient safety.

Must meet phlebotomy certification requirements and have experience in a fast-paced lab. Typical work includes updating patient information, following OSHA regulations, and participating in routine department trainings.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by state law.
• Minimum 6 months’ venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge samples and record maintenance data.
• Collect and store specimens per procedures; verify requisitions and labels.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and ensure specimen integrity.
