Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Anchorage, AK. Working hours are 8AM–5PM, Monday to Friday, with an initial 3-month duration and potential conversion to permanent employment.

The role requires performing venipunctures, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring patient safety. Responsibilities include specimen handling, data recording, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimen tubes and package specimens for transport.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients and/or caregivers.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual department trainings.
• Answer telephone inquiries and relay lab results as required.
