Job summary

Htprof is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Anchorage, AK with potential for permanent hire after about 3 months. The position requires performing blood draws, labeling specimens, and processing samples in a fast-paced lab setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient records, verifying test orders, and ensuring specimens are prepared and transported according to protocol. Schedule is 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with benefits available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
• Match requisition forms to specimens and properly label, package, and transport samples.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly and comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.
