Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist (Contract) in Reston, VA. The role involves blood draws, specimen labeling, and processing with attention to safety protocols. Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with every-other-Saturday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. The job emphasizes accuracy, OSHA/DEP compliance, and timely specimen transport.

Competenze

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Mansioni

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
