Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group in Newberg, OR is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood draws, label specimens, and ensure proper handling under OSHA guidelines. The role supports troubleshooting and workflow improvements in a clinical lab setting.

The contract position runs about 3 months with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm with rotating Saturdays (one every 4-5 weeks) and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• State phlebotomy certification required where applicable.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately according to protocol.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination procedures as required.
• Package and transport specimens following temperature controls and SOPs.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and verify test orders.
