Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Colonial Heights, VA, with typical hours from 7:45am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The assignment is for 3 months with potential to become permanent.

Qualifications

• Experience performing venipuncture in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge and handle specimens.
• Record maintenance data and decontaminate work areas.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients and caregivers.
• Package and transport specimens according to protocol and OSHA/DEP regulations.
