Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, labeling, centrifuging, and specimen handling as per protocol.
• Collects and stores specimens according to procedures; ensure patient information accuracy.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously; use straight or butterfly needles.
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and attend annual trainings; assist with trainings.
