Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Hoffman Estates, IL. You will perform blood collections across all ages, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure precise data entry for patient information.

This role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to travel to additional sites as needed. A high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification are required, with a potential PST incentive plan bonus based on performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
• Proven customer service and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
