Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods, while delivering exceptional customer service and accurate data entry.

The role includes daily clerical tasks, specimen preparation, and occasional travel to additional sites as needed. Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent with Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for patients of all ages.
• Collect specimens for tests such as drug screens and other assays.
• Enter patient data accurately into the information system and ensure timely processing.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
