Job summary

Labcorp in Skokie, IL is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, specimen collection for drug screens and tests, and accurate data entry of patient information.

The position supports travel to additional sites, requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with a schedule Monday–Friday 7:00am–12:00pm and potential eligibility for PST Incentive Plan based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
