Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Hermiston, OR team. This role supports patient care by performing blood collection via venipuncture and capillary techniques across all ages, and by preparing specimens for testing.

The position requires accurate data entry, timely documentation, and a commitment to outstanding customer service. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with overtime and rotating Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or complete training from an accredited agency.
• Able to pass a color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for various tests and ensure proper labeling.
• Qualified to perform moderately complexity testing as defined by CLIA.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely in the system.
• Provide superior customer service to patients and visitors.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
