Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Hermiston, OR. You will perform skilled blood collection, ensure accurate specimen handling, and contribute to data entry and billing processes while delivering excellent patient service.

This role offers opportunities to work across patient service centers, with potential travel to additional sites and a focus on quality, accuracy, and compassionate care in a collaborative Labcorp environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• 6+ months of Labcorp phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Qualified to perform moderately complex testing as defined by CLIA.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
