Job summary

Labcorp, a global leader in diagnostic testing, is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 475 S Columbia River Hwy, St. Helens, OR 97051. Monday to Friday, 7:45am - 4:15pm, performing venipuncture and specimen collection with focus on accurate data entry and patient service.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ year phlebotomy experience, and ability to pass a color vision test. We offer extensive benefits and opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
