Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 475 S Columbia River Hwy. St. Helens, OR 97051. The role involves blood collections and specimen handling with daily Monday–Friday shifts from 7:45am to 4:15pm.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma; 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist is preferred. Strong customer service and reliable transportation are valued for travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
