Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Medford, OR. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, handle specimen processing and data entry, and provide excellent patient service.

The role supports multiple sites with potential overtime and travel as needed. A high school diploma is required, and phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited program is preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
