Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Fairfax, SC. The Phlebotomist will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and be the face of the company in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. Opportunities for growth within the organization are available.

Work schedule is Monday to Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with rotating Saturdays. A PST Incentive Plan offers quarterly bonuses based on performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
