Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Midlothian, VA. Schedule is Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4pm, with rotating Saturdays. You will perform blood collections, handle specimens, and provide exceptional patient service in a collaborative environment.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or relevant training or 3+ months experience. PST incentives may apply; comprehensive benefits exist for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Ability to travel to additional sites when needed; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
