Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Summerville, SC. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques, diligently collecting specimens for tests, and delivering excellent customer service in a healthcare setting.

The position may be in a Patient Service Center or Client office, with a schedule Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm and rotating Saturdays. Training and growth opportunities are available within Labcorp.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Aufgaben

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
