Job summary

Labcorp, a global leader in diagnostic testing, is seeking a Phlebotomist for a PSC in Fredericksburg, VA. The role involves skilled venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, and delivering excellent patient service in a busy lab environment.

The position supports overall diagnostic operations with schedules Monday–Friday 8:15am–5:00pm and rotating Saturdays. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
