TriCore Reference Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant - Phlebotomist FLOAT for Outpatient settings (UH 1209). The role involves early schedule hours, including on-call and weekends, with compensation based on modalities performed.

Apprenticeship paths may exist for candidates with limited experience. The position emphasizes patient care, professional communication, and adherence to immunization and safety standards.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or equivalent required.
• PBT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Immunization to Hepatitis B required or waiver option available.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain supplies and inventory for departmental functions.
• Demonstrate basic problem solving to ensure patient care.
• Handle on-call responsibilities as assigned by location.
• Perform clerical tasks such as documenting communications.
• Participate in and maintain coverage for holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic PC skills are required.
