Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories at University Hospital is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant - Phlebotomist to support essential blood collection and patient care activities. Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or equivalent.
• PBT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Completion of a relevant Clinical Lab Assistant or comparable program.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintains supplies and inventory needed for department functions.
• Observe students and new staff as needed.
• Exhibit effective telephone and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain confidentiality of personal and confidential information.
• Participate in on-call coverage and holidays/weekends as needed.
