Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join our College Park team, delivering accurate blood collections and patient-centered service in a fast-paced lab setting.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen processing, data entry, and occasional travel to other sites. Requires high school diploma and phlebotomy certification with 2+ years of experience; strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience.
• Strong customer service and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
