Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist in Lafayette, GA to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across all ages. You will collect specimens for tests and ensure accurate data entry and patient information handling in a professional setting.

The role requires a phlebotomy certification and at least 2 years of experience, with strong customer service and communication skills. Expect a Monday–Thursday schedule with possible Saturdays, and travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
