Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Alpharetta, GA team. The role involves performing venipuncture and capillary collections across ages, ensuring accurate data entry and responsible specimen handling, and delivering exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens for various tests, supporting billing, and travel to client locations as needed. A phlebotomy certificate or equivalent training, plus 2+ years' experience, are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent phlebotomy training/certification.
• 2+ years' phlebotomy experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Color vision and manual dexterity requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Complete administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
