Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist to support our laboratory operations in Colonial Heights, VA. The role involves performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate has a valid phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. This on-site position runs Monday through Friday, with a 3-month project duration and potential for

- Valid Phlebotomy certification as required by state of employment.
- Minimum of 6 months’ venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; High School Diploma or GED.
Mansioni
- Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
- Centrifuge, record maintenance data and decontaminate as required.
- Update patient information and document test orders.
- Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
- Match requisitions to specimen tubes and label appropriately.
- Package specimens for transport per protocol and maintain specimen integrity.
- Store specimens at required temperatures and follow OSHA/DEP regulations.
- Attend annual trainings and respond to inquiries from results.
