Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II for a client in Keller, TX. This is a 13 weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT. Location: Keller, TX. Pay range: $19-22/hour. Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: 1-3 years in phlebotomy. Skills: pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

• Perform venipuncture and collect high-quality blood specimens

• Process clinical and forensic specimens according to established procedures
• Verify patient demographic information and required documentation
• Obtain patient signatures following venipuncture when required
• Verify specimen labels and ensure accurate patient identification
• Maintain required records and documentation
• Explain collection procedures clearly and professionally to patients

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CT

Location: Keller, TX 76248

Job Type: Local contract

Pay Range: $19-22/hour*

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Perform venipuncture and collect high-quality blood specimens


• Perform pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections


• Process clinical and forensic specimens according to established procedures


• Verify patient demographic information and required documentation


• Obtain patient signatures following venipuncture when required


• Verify specimen labels and ensure accurate patient identification


• Maintain required records and documentation


• Explain collection procedures clearly and professionally to patients

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
