Job summary

Starting pay range is $24.51 to $26.27 per hour, with supplements based on education, experience, and credentials. Requires a high school diploma; 3 years phlebotomy experience and 2 years in a Patient Service Center

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training preferred (e.g., medical assistant or paramedic).
• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric and geriatric draws.
• 2+ years in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to lab procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client’s medical facility, based in Harrisburg PA 17104

This is a 13 week contract role with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Harrisburg PA 17104

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-3pm Every other Saturday 7am-12pm (30hrs/week)

Pay Range: $24.51 -26.27/hour

(Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume.

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.

Education:

Experience:

• At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.
