Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate release of PHI requests in accordance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2 and state rules.
• Prepare correspondence and medical records for release, ensuring privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Process admissions and release requests, including CD burning, filing, retrieval, and photocopying of records.
• Provide telephone coverage and respond to internal and external requestors with clear, professional communication.
• Safeguard patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
