Job summary

MaineHealth Corporate is seeking a Release of Information Specialist III to validate and process requests for Protected Health Information in accordance with policies and regulations. You will act as the subject matter expert for Release of Information and train new users.

The role requires at least three years of ROI experience in a healthcare setting, knowledge of EPIC/EMR systems, and a strong commitment to privacy and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in a healthcare related discipline preferred; medical terminology course required.
• License/Certifications: RHIT or RHIA preferred.
• Experience: Three years in Release of Information in a health care setting required; EPIC/EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Validate and process requests for Protected Health Information per policies and regulations.
