Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor processing technician to prepare the pheresis workstation, monitor donors, and ensure accurate data is recorded. You will work with thepheresis equipment and PDA to document incidents and donor information.

The role emphasizes safety, hygiene, and precise adherence to SOPs, with potential cross-training in related areas and possible bilingual requirements depending on the center's needs.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) months’ work experience in medical/health provider environment or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors donor and pheresis process; responds to alarms or signals.
• Disconnects donor when process is complete.
• Maintains awareness of donor reactions; notifies staff as needed.
• Uses PDA to record incidents and link equipment to donors.
• Alerts Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensures accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information system.
